Time2Curry (the "Service") is provided by Vish Phadnis. This page informs visitors and users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information:

• Account Information: To sync recipes across your devices, we use Google Firebase to store your User ID, name, and email address.

• Recipe Data: Recipes you create, import, or save are stored securely in your private database.

• In-App Purchases: Our Service offers a yearly subscription. All financial transactions are processed securely by Apple. We do not collect or store your credit card or bank account information.

• Data Retention & Deletion: Users can request the deletion of their account and all associated recipe data directly within the app settings or by contacting support@time2curry.com 

2. AI Processing and Media (Gemini AI)

Version 2.0 of Time2Curry introduces AI-powered recipe extraction.

• Scanned Images & Photos: When you use the "Scan Recipe" feature, the image is transmitted to Google Gemini AI for text extraction.

• Data Handling: Images used for extraction are processed to identify ingredients and instructions. These images are not used by us for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

• Clipboard & Web Data: When you import a recipe from a URL or your clipboard, that data is processed by our AI engine to format it into a recipe structure.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service and perform service-related tasks. These providers have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

• Google Firebase: For database hosting, authentication, and cloud storage.

• Google Gemini AI: For recipe data extraction and analysis.

• Apple: For processing in-app subscriptions and payments.

4. Log Data and Analytics

In the event of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app at the time of the error, and other statistics to help us improve the app's stability.

5. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

Time2Curry is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent and discover your child has created an account, please contact us at support@time2curry.com so we can delete their data.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
